I’ve created my design, now what?

Who doesn’t love playing around with a great design in Canva?  I could spend hours tweaking to come up with that perfect creation that I feel will inspire others to click on the intended target.  So, now that you have the perfect design, where do we go from here?

There are many different download options, depending on what you will be using your design for.  For printing, you will want a larger PDF file, whereas if you are posting the image on your website, you can go with a smaller PNG file.  You can also create short moving images in Canva.  For that there are download options available for GIF or MP4 files.

They are constantly upgrading and improving Canva so there are always new and exciting things to learn.  Each platform has different specifications for what image sizes and formats you can use.  Be sure to check the requirements for each one as you are posting.

Options for downloading files from Canva:

  • Type of file you need.
  • Are you creating a still image or movie file?
  • Resolution size required for your context.
  • How to create transparent backgrounds and why.
